- The Funny Stubborn Time
Time has fun all the time.
Travelling through the time.
For some like slipping sand,
Tighten your grip, more time slips.
Some want to hold it, never let it go away,
But time won’t stay and flies away.
For some, time travels at a snail’s pace.
The unbearable it gets, longer the time stays.
Some try to push it and shove it away,
But time sticks to them as if forever to stay.
Nobody can speed it up.
Nobody can slow it down.
Time has its own stubborn style.
Moving fast or slow, time never forgets to make a mark.
Parting gift of memories, to cherish or to hate.
At the end, good or bad, time eventually passes away.
Time has fun all the time all the way.

- Poem: Based and inspired by the poem; “I, Too”. By Langston Hughes
I, Too
I, too plead America.
A brother from another mother,
From cultures world apart
Is it governed by love and freedom?
Where color and creed don’t matter.
I, too plead America,
a world of dreams, of selfless love,
of oneness.
Beyond the bounders of
Differences and discriminations.
I, too plead America,
An America of equality, fraternity, and human dignity.
A bastion of liberty
Of hopes and dawns.
An America Sans darkness without.
I, too plead America
where dreams and desires remain unshattered.
Honor morality virtue, character restored.

- When Ocean Calls
For twenty years he waited for this day
Watching the glistening sunset from the bay
Mesmerized by dazzling, strong and fragile waves
Calling him open arms every day
The cool morning breeze flowing gently
Blowing his hairs and caressing his skin
The warmth of the morning sun spread across the sky
The sailor smiled at the people passing by
Filled with inspiration the sailor marches to the port
He is courageous German, his name is Kort
The salty smell of nearing ocean gave him goose bumps
Galloping with rhyming tunes of heart and clump
Scattered shouts of seagulls felt like welcome slogans
Impersonating themselves as dragons
Here goes our sailor on a journey to win Hopeful are all his kith and kin.
